Hi! I’m Corbett Shwom, author of Worry Thoughts – a storybook created to help children understand and overcome anxious thoughts. Thank you for your interest in my book!

I’ve struggled with anxiety and worrying thoughts for as long as I can remember. When my daughters were old enough to express their feelings, I quickly recognized how anxiety was starting to affect their well-being. Being able to personally relate to what they were going through, I decided to do something about it.

In 2010, I penned the Worry Thoughts poem to help my children understand that worrying thoughts were just that – thoughts. The poem quickly became a go-to that helped the whole family, and many years later, I developed Worry Thoughts into a storybook with the mission to help children understand and overcome anxious thoughts.

We all have worry thoughts, but they shouldn’t become debilitating or prevent your children from leading full, happy lives!
